Overview
Revel was born out of my struggle to find Afrobeats venues on Google or TikTok. The nightlife discovery app allows users to search by the vibe they’re looking for and find venues near them. Users can also save and review places, build collaborative lists (“Nights”) with friends, and explore everything on a map.
Currently in active development, Revel is designed to make going out feel less random and more intentional.
The Concept
Going out shouldn’t feel like a gamble. Revel lets users describe the vibe they want — chill rooftop, loud dance floor, intimate cocktail bar — and surfaces venues that match. Reviews are vibe-first, not just star ratings, so you know what you’re walking into.
